Frequently Asked Questions
Here you'll find answers to the questions we're asked most often. Can't find what you're looking for? Just write to us—we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
What is the process for buying a used Glovebox?
It’s very simple: The best thing to do is to submit a search request and describe your requirements there—such as the desired atmosphere, the number of glove ports, and the intended use. That way, we’ll have your information right away and can continue to offer you suitable systems in the future. We’ll review our inventory and provide you with a suitable quote. Before delivery, we’ll prepare the system and test it thoroughly. Once preparation is complete, we’ll coordinate a delivery date with you and—if delivery and commissioning were included in your order—commission the system on-site at your location.
Can I take a look at the Glovebox beforehand?
Yes, of course! An on-site tour can be arranged at any time. During this visit, we can also discuss your specific requests and any potential modifications in detail right at the facility—so you’ll receive the best possible advice right from the start.
What condition are the glove boxes in?
All equipment is used, but it has been technically inspected and refurbished. We sell only equipment that we stand behind and that is in working order. We describe the specific condition of each unit to you openly and honestly.
What exactly does “recycled” mean?
Depending on its initial condition, we clean the box, decontaminate it, check for leaks, replace wear parts such as gaskets or gloves, and perform a functional test. This ensures you receive a reliably functioning device—at a fraction of the price of a new one. You can read exactly how we do this in our guide to used gloveboxes.
Which manufacturers do you carry?
We specialize in brand-name glove boxes from well-known manufacturers such as MBraun, GS / Inert, and Jacomex. Our inventory changes constantly – see our current selection. If you are looking for a specific brand or model, please contact us or submit a search request.
What level of purity (O₂ / H₂O) do the boxes achieve?
Brand-name gloveboxes with gas purification systems typically achieve levels in the single-digit ppm range for oxygen (O₂) and moisture (H₂O). The specific levels that can be achieved depend on the model, the purification system, and the condition of the unit—we’ll provide these details for each device.
Is there a warranty?
As a B2B supplier of used equipment, we generally exclude the statutory warranty—this is standard practice in the trade of used capital goods. However, you can rest assured that every piece of equipment is carefully refurbished and thoroughly tested before delivery. Upon request, we’re also happy to make a customized special arrangement—just get in touch with us.
How is the order shipped?
We arrange transportation throughout Europe. Since gloveboxes are delicate and heavy pieces of equipment, we personally ensure they are delivered properly. We clearly outline the exact terms and conditions for you in our quote.
Do you help with installation and commissioning?
If you have also ordered the commissioning service, we will assist you with delivery and professionally install the system at your location. You will then receive hands-on training on how to operate the system right there on site—so you can start using it safely and without any delays.
What do I need to prepare for delivery and moving the unit in?
To ensure that delivery and moving the unit into place go smoothly, we need a few details from you in advance:
- Complete delivery address and two contact persons for the delivery day, including direct phone numbers
- The measurement of the narrowest point along the transport route to the installation site (e.g. door frames, hallways, stairs)
- Which floor the installation site is on
- If a lift/elevator is used: door width and internal depth
With this information, we can plan the right transport equipment and personnel.
Which gases and connections do I need for commissioning and operation?
For assembly, initial commissioning and operation, the following should be available on site:
- Working gas (operation): argon or nitrogen, min. purity 4.6 – via building supply or gas cylinder, 6 bar, approx. 260 l/min
- Regeneration gas (forming gas): nitrogen-hydrogen or argon-hydrogen mixture with 5–10 % hydrogen, 0.4 bar, approx. 20 l/min. The pressure regulator must have an adjustment range of at least 0–2 bar (or 0–4 bar).
- Purge gas (initial commissioning only): one 50 l cylinder of argon or nitrogen at 200 bar per pair of gloves, placed directly next to the unit. A building supply cannot be used for this. These cylinders are only needed for initial commissioning.
- Exhaust & earthing: connection to an existing exhaust system and earthing (grounding) of the unit must be carried out by the customer's qualified personnel.
We're happy to provide our full preparation checklist in advance so that everything is ready on delivery day.
I'm looking for a specific box that's currently unavailable—what can I do?
Submit a search request and briefly describe what you're looking for. As soon as a suitable Glovebox arrives, we'll let you know first—often before the device is listed publicly.
Do you also buy used glove boxes?
Yes. If you have a used Glovebox to sell, please feel free to reach out to us via our contact form with some basic details and photos.
Still have questions? Just write to us.

Tip for your inquiry:
The more information you provide—such as the intended application, inert gas (argon or nitrogen), desired working chamber size, or preferred manufacturer—the more precisely I can select the right glovebox for you.
