About GS Glovebox

GS builds gloveboxes and isolators for work under protective gas. The units are sturdily engineered and adapt well to individual processes – an advantage when buying used, because a GS box can be modernised if needed (for example with an up-to-date gas purifier).

Why used?

The stainless-steel chamber, antechambers and control are long-lived – a properly refurbished used unit is technically almost on par with a new one, but costs considerably less and is usually available at short notice. What to look for is explained in the guide to buying a used glovebox.

Conversion & modernisation

On request we convert GS gloveboxes – for example with an MBraun gas purifier or other adaptations to your process. This combines the robust GS base with modern purification technology.

Inspected and refurbished

Before sale, every unit is refurbished and decontaminated by our partner KeT Boxsysteme; wear parts are replaced. On request, KeT also handles delivery and on-site commissioning.

Typical applications

GS gloveboxes are suitable for work under argon or nitrogen – for example in battery research, catalysis and organometallic chemistry, or with OLED materials.
