MBraun UV-Clean

The MBraun MB-UV-O₃ cleaner (UV-Clean) removes organic contamination from glass substrates and other UV/ozone-stable materials without residue – directly inside the inert-gas box, with no process interruption. Available as a stand-alone unit or as a fully glovebox-integrated module. The unit is used but was tested only once.

Fully automated process

Purge with CDA → UV exposure → nitrogen purge – every step configurable via the touch panel. An integrated palladium catalyst converts the ozone produced directly back into normal oxygen, so a separate fume hood is not strictly required. Status is shown via a traffic-light system right at the glove port.
