MBraun UV-Press
The MBraun MB UV-Press bonds and hermetically seals sensitive samples (e.g. OLEDs, perovskite or battery cells) under inert gas – fully integrated into your glovebox, with no oxygen or moisture contact. Bonding and UV curing happen in a single step, right where the samples are made. The unit is used but was rarely operated and has not been in use for the past few years.
The process in three steps
1. Manually load the sample between the substrate and cover glass. 2. Bonding with vacuum or mechanical pressure – the glass plates are brought together evenly and pressed via a vacuum chuck and pneumatic drive. 3. Curing – the adhesive is cured by UV lamp in under 3 seconds.
